Hanjin joins India-Far East VSA
Hanjin Shipping will join an intra-Asia vessel-sharing agreement service that connects India and the Far East as one of the joint operators at the end of September, the company announced Sep 10.
Named IFX2 (India Far East Express 2), this service is currently jointly operated by PIL, ?°K?± Line and SCI.
When Hanjin joins the service, the service will deploy five 2,500-TEU vessels, of which Hanjin will contribute one, PIL, two, ?°K?± Line one and SCI one.
After Hanjin joins the service, its rotation will be: Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Busan, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang, Madras, Vizag, Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Xingang.
The service started on Sep 22.
