    Platinum Membership of Cargo 2000 awarded to Asia Airfreight Terminal
    ASIA Airfreight Terminal (AAT) has been certified as a Platinum Member, the highest status of the Cargo 2000 (C2K) GHA Membership Classification Scheme 2013. Accreditation demonstrates the company's thorough integration of C2K into its daily business processes. To receive the accreditation the company successfully fulfilled the three assessment criteria, which are "Performance and Integrity," "Process/ Degree of Implementation" and "Contribution to C2K Community." Said AAT general manager Khaw Hock Eng: "AAT is honoured to be the C2K GHA Platinum Member which is the highest classification of the membership. AAT is devoted to focusing on our service excellence and professionalism so as to facilitate the business growth with our customers." AAT joined Cargo 2000 in 2010 to benchmark service standards with other industry players. Founded by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 1997, C2K is an industry group with the mission to create and implement the quality standard and management system for the worldwide air cargo industry. While defining the quality standards for the supply chain, C2K aims to reinforce the efficiency of the air freight industry, improve customer service and reduce costs to all participants through a programme of agreed business and automation standards, which are measurable and lead to quality competitive performance.
